Really like the shot..

Q1: What happens when the lightning hits the windmills?

Q2: Wasn't it Shelley said something like poetry is a sword of lightning, ever unsheathed, which consumes the scabbard that would contain it?

Oh great, now I'm going to have post-Freudian dreams all night about swords thrusting into windmills...yeesh, 'thanks' DMG.

Your mosaic mis-represents you - but then again you'd probably need an n-dimensional Rubic's cube version to do that IMHO.

dutch me gently, please said...

A1: they go faster and faster and faster until they have generated enough lift to soar up into the air where they swoop and swirl and dip and dive like seagulls before drifting back to earth, invariably to land in some other country which then claims that *they* invented the windmill...

A2. i think i read that on the bathroom wall of the local anonymous public health clinic, except it was *about* shelly, not *by* her, and they spelled her name with only one "e"... and it ended with "and now it burns when i pee!!!"...

might not be the same shelley thought...

i guess the appropriateness of the mosaic depends on the dimensions being portrayed... i know some women (who shall remain nameless, a.a. and m.j.c. and s.c.a and a.i.g.) who would suggest that my portrait should be a binary mosaic of one pixel by one pixel...
